Job summary

RavenVolt Inc., an ABM Company, is seeking Traveling BESS & Generator Installation Crew Members to support critical energy infrastructure projects across the United States. You will receive training in rough-in and tie-in activities for BESS, generators, switchgear, transformers, and microgrid projects.

Based in Waco, Texas, this full-time role requires willingness to travel nationwide, physical endurance, and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, productive, and fast-paced work environment.
• Prepare jobsites by building forms, installing stone sub-bases, and pouring and finishing concrete equipment pads.
• Excavate trenches for conduit and utility installations.
• Install conduit systems, backfill trenches, and compact soil to project specifications.
• Set and secure generators, switchgear, transformers, and BESS equipment.
• Pull and terminate electrical conductors ranging from #6 AWG through 1000 MCM.
• Perform medium-voltage cable installations and terminations.
• Operate construction equipment, including telehandlers, skid steers, and mini excavators.
• Follow all company, customer, and OSHA safety requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition.

Traveling BESS & Generator Installation Crew Member
RavenVolt is seeking motivated and hardworking Traveling BESS & Generator Installation Crew Members to support the installation of critical energy infrastructure projects across the United States. In this role, you will receive training in both rough-in and tie-in activities associated with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), generators, switchgear, transformers, and microgrid projects. Qualifications

Required

• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction work
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to travel nationwide
• Ability to safely identify and utilize construction tools and equipment

Preferred

• Hold an active electrical apprentice license
• Experience operating telehandlers, skid steers, mini excavators, or similar equipment
• Experience in electrical construction, commercial construction, industrial construction, or concrete finishing
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Prior generator, solar, BESS, or utility construction experience

Location & Travel

This position is based out of our Waco, Texas office, with projects located nationwide. Depending on employee location and project requirements, team members may be required to report to the office at the beginning of every other work week prior to deployment.
