Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Industrial Superintendent (Travel) to lead on-site construction across diverse projects in the United States. You will oversee piping, process piping, self-performing construction, and industrial operations, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence.

The role requires strong leadership, travel readiness, and a track record of successful industrial construction management. OSHA 30+ or equivalent is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Industrial Superintendent in construction.
• Extensive piping, process pipe, and self-performing construction knowledge.
• Proven track record overseeing industrial construction projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Understanding of construction procedures, materials and PM principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently to sites.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field; OSHA 30+ is a plus.
• Proficient with construction management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee on-site construction activities, scheduling, and equipment/material delivery.
• Coordinate and supervise all construction teams, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Manage direct and indirect expenditures to keep the project within budget.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction specialists.
• Implement strict safety protocols and enforce standards on site.
• Conduct quality inspections to meet codes and performance specs.
• Resolve on-site issues and disputes to maintain progress.
• Prepare detailed progress, cost, and performance reports.
• Travel to multiple construction sites as required.
