Exact Metrology: A Division of In-Place Machining Company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to travel the Northeast, tackle complex mechanical challenges, and service heavy equipment across diverse facilities.
You will disassemble, repair, align, and reassemble machinery, while collaborating with seasoned professionals to deliver reliable solutions and stay at the forefront of metrology and industrial services.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in industrial maintenance, millwright, mechanical repair, or related field.
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or trade certification required.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills essential.
- Basic rigging knowledge beneficial.
- Mechanical curiosity and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Install, dismantle, repair, and rebuild industrial machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and alignment issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Make precise mechanical adjustments and alignments.
- Support machinery installations and plant projects.
- Collaborate with customers to deliver technical solutions.
- Travel across the Northeast and occasionally other regions.
