OASIS Alignment Services, North America's trusted provider of 3D metrology and precision alignment services, seeks a skilled maintenance mechanic to travel the Midwest installing, repairing, and aligning industrial equipment. You will work with seasoned professionals across diverse industries, gaining exposure to major machinery and challenging projects.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in industrial maintenance, millwright, or related field.
  • Technical degree or apprenticeship required.
  • Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
  • Willing to travel across the Midwest and sometimes nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Install, dismantle, repair, and rebuild industrial machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and alignment issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Make precision adjustments and alignments.
  • Support machinery installations and plant projects.
  • Work directly with customers to deliver technical solutions.
  • Travel throughout the Midwest and occasionally across the U.S.

What You'll Do
  • Installing, dismantling, repairing, and rebuilding industrial machinery
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and alignment-related issues
  • Performing preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Making precision mechanical adjustments and alignments
  • Supporting machinery installations and plant projects
  • Working directly with customers to deliver technical solutions
  • Traveling throughout the Midwest and occasionally across the U.S.
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance, millwright, mechanical repair, or related experience
  • A technical degree, apprenticeship, or trade certification
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
  • Trainee opportunities are available for candidates with foundational machining knowledge who may not yet meet all position requirements. Individuals hired at a trainee pay rate must meet the minimum qualifications of the CNC Machinist position within one year of their hire date.
