Job summary

CVS Health in United States is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy operations across stores within the district. This role focuses on staffing coverage, patient safety, and delivering clinical care including immunizations where permissible.

You will travel within a reasonable radius to fill shifts, assist the Pharmacy Manager, and uphold CVS policies while maintaining high standards of service, accuracy, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe and accurate dispensing and patient counseling.
• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Support pharmacy operations and maintain patient safety and compliance.
• Provide immunizations and participate in clinical care where permissible.
• Maintain inventory with a focus on cold chain products.
• Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and CVS policies.
