Job summary
Ergon, Inc. is seeking an I&E Technician to travel nationwide, performing installation, maintenance and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation and automation systems across field and facility environments.
The role reports to Ennis, TX and offers a competitive hourly wage with travel premiums and overtime opportunities. You’ll work 4/10s in seasonal schedule, with up to 75% travel and potential for 300+ overtime hours annually.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years in instrumentation and control in process industries.
- Hands-on with smart field devices and control platforms.
- Proficient in reading electrical drawings and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and commission field/in facility systems.
- Configure devices for level, flow, pressure, temperature; work with VFDs and PLCs.
- Perform loop checks and calibration; update wiring diagrams and P&IDs.
- Respond to service calls; support maintenance and upgrades.
