Job summary

STS Technical Services is seeking a Traveling Hydraulic Assembler to support hydraulic and mechanical assembly work in a manufacturing environment in Spring City, PA. The role requires independent work from prints and instructions and delivering high-quality assemblies.

You will read prints, align components, use hand and power tools, fixtures and hoists, inspect parts, test performance, and identify issues before moving to production. Travel to customer sites as needed and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Strong blueprint and print-reading skills.

• Ability to complete detailed assembly work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints and work instructions independently.
• Position, align and assemble hydraulic and mechanical components into finished units.
• Complete more complex assembly configurations with limited supervision.
• Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures and hoists during assembly work.
• Inspect components and assemblies to verify conformance with specifications.
• Test the functional performance of completed assemblies.
• Identify fit, component and testing issues during the assembly process.
• Report nonconforming components or completed assemblies.
• Disassemble products when repairs or adjustments are required.
• Repair and reassemble products as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support less-experienced assemblers with routine technical questions.
• Apply strong attention to detail throughout assembly and inspection activities.

STS Technical Services is hiring a Traveling Hydraulic Assembler in Spring City, Pennsylvania, to support complex hydraulic and mechanical assembly work within a manufacturing environment.

This role is designed for an experienced assembler who can work independently from prints and work instructions, complete detailed hydraulic assemblies and verify that finished products meet functional and quality requirements.

Position Overview

The Traveling Hydraulic Assembler performs complex assembly work involving hydraulic and mechanical components.

This position requires strong print-reading skills, hands-on experience with assembly tools and equipment, and the ability to identify fit, component and testing issues before completed assemblies move to the next stage of production.
