Confidential Employer is seeking a Traveling HVAC Commissioning Technician to perform startup, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC systems on new construction and retrofit projects. The role focuses on commercial rooftop units (RTUs) and occasional split systems, ensuring proper operation per manufacturer specs before turnover.

Travel is required with approximately 55 hours per week and strong overtime potential, offering earnings around $2,500 weekly and up to $40/hour

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC experience or experience performing HVAC commissioning or commercial service work.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to travel for project assignments.

Mansioni

• HVAC commissioning and startup of commercial rooftop units (RTUs) and split systems.
• Verify installation, wiring, airflow, and refrigerant charge.
• Conduct functional performance testing and diagnose electrical, refrigeration, and airflow issues.
• Document commissioning reports, tests, and communicate issues to project teams.
