Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience around energized high‑voltage primary electrical links (7.2kV min).
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to travel 100% of the time.
• Strong planning/organizational skills and ability to delegate to schedule crews.
• Good mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts.
• Ability to read technical information, manuals, blueprints and diagrams.
• Able to handle emergencies, hazardous conditions, and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to crews to ensure safe, efficient, and quality operations.
• Develop look ahead schedules with field leadership and estimate worker requirements.
• Ensure crew follows schedule of activities in construction and maintenance.
• Maintain safety and secure tools and materials daily.
• Support training of workers in construction methods and safety practices.
• Assist in recruiting qualified applicants and assigning classifications.
• Adhere to EEO, safety and quality assurance programs and build customer relationships.
