Job summary

Shawmut Design and Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent First Finish to lead high‑profile hospitality renovations nationwide. You will oversee field operations from preconstruction to turnover, ensuringSafety, quality, and schedule compliance while coordinating with the project team and clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a Superintendent on complex hospitality projects, a track record of meeting deadlines, and experience managing diverse teams on occupied and unoccupied

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Superintendent on hospitality projects.
• Experience on complex renovations in occupied/unoccupied spaces.
• Strong safety knowledge and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage teams and subcontractors efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations including safety, coordination, quality control and site cleanliness.
• Plan logistics, phasing, milestones and inspections with the project manager.
• Maintain accurate project schedules and address changes promptly.
• Communicate scope changes and risks to cost or schedule to the team.
• Hold subs and vendors accountable while maintaining positive relationships.
• Support field team development and sustain client relations throughout the project.
