Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility.
• Willingness to travel within branch/office coverage area (50%).
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently and lift 50–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and evaluates functional needs and outcomes; consults with other specialists; adjusts care plans for optimal outcomes.
• Designs and implements a plan of care based on thorough assessment and involves significant others when appropriate.
• Contributes to care within defined standards and directs support staff to achieve functional goals.
• Documents evaluations, treatment goals, plans, and maintains prescriptions and signatures.
• Provides leadership to staff and promotes physical therapy in the community.
