Job summary

Brink Constructors is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate and maintain a range of heavy machinery across job sites in the Midwest. A valid DOT medical card and a DOT physical are required; travel is 100% and the compensation is hourly.

The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and precise operation of equipment such as graders, loaders, excavators, and more. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate Card required.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and follow safety regulations.
  • Avoid hazards near utilities and other equipment.
  • Locate underground services prior to work.
  • Monitor operations to meet health and safety standards.
  • Operate attachments such as blades, buckets, scrapers, or swing booms.
  • Inspect equipment and identify defects when present.
  • Operate heavy-duty construction or installation equipment.
