Job summary

Congruex is seeking an Equipment Operator for a traveling role in Midwest projects focusing on underground utilities. The candidate will operate heavy equipment safely, avoiding utilities, and perform routine maintenance with daily communication to management.

A valid CDL class A is required, along with a DOT Medical Card. The position offers per diem of $150 for travel plus full benefits and potential overtime to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Commercial driver's license (CDL) required per DOT guidance.
• DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery for underground utilities construction or excavation safely.
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
• Perform regular maintenance and documentation for equipment.
• Navigate near active utilities and follow safety policies.
• Set up, operate, and break down equipment efficiently.
• Assist with related tasks such as conduit placement in trenches and potholing.
