Job summary

Braun Intertec seeks a traveling Staff Engineer or Geologist to support renewable energy and infrastructure projects. The role involves frequent travel to remote job sites and providing field testing, sampling, and reporting services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering field, or Geology required.
• Two or more years of construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering experience preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Expected travel is 60 to 90%.

Responsibilities

• Perform oversight of field personnel on remote job sites.
• Perform field testing and observations at remote job sites.
• Assist field operations with technician training and review.
• Coordinate field observations with engineering project lead.
• Review field logs and soil samples for classification and boring log preparation.
• Work independently on assignments with Senior review.
• Quality review of work and issue resolution on projects.
• Coordinate with regional operations to manage staff and workloads.
• Support client relationships to achieve market-sector goals.
