Role Summary

The General Superintendent will develop and execute project plans, oversee all aspects of complex projects, manage teams, plan construction sequencing, and meet project goals, supporting JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

Superintendent Family - Core

• Lead safety culture, promote an injury-free environment, investigate incidents, and retrain staff as needed.
• Manage subcontractors and organize overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs like Safety, Quality, and EEOC for projects.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate project site management and lead meetings.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and communication with stakeholders.
• Ensure quality compliance and support project closeouts.
• Participate in project pursuit, planning, and negotiation processes.
• Recruit top talent and promote diversity and inclusion.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management, scheduling software, and construction technology.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, trades, self-perform work, and labor productivity.
• Ability to manage budgets, maximize profitability, and understand project documentation.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 12+ years construction experience, including 10+ years in field supervision.
• Experience with large-scale aviation projects (>75M) required.

Working Environment

• Valid driver's license required.
