Role Summary

The General Superintendent develops and executes project plans, overseeing all aspects of complex projects. Responsible for managing teams, planning construction sequencing, and meeting project goals, all aligned with JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

• Lead safety culture, demonstrate commitment to an injury-free environment, investigate incidents, and retrain staff.
• Manage subcontractors, organize project workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs like Safety, Quality, and EEOC for projects.
• Develop work plans, coordinate project site activities, lead meetings, and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Communicate key project information to stakeholders, ensure documentation, support project closeouts, and participate in project pursuit processes.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Effective communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management, scheduling software, and construction technology.
• Deep knowledge of trades, self-perform work, labor productivity, budgeting, and layout skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; relevant experience considered.
• 12+ years construction experience, including 10+ years in field supervision, with experience on large aviation projects.

Working Environment

• Valid driver’s license required.
