As part of the team, you'll work on some of the most advanced construction projects nationwide, growing your career alongside diverse industry professionals.

Role Summary

The General Superintendent will develop and execute project plans, oversee all aspects of complex projects, manage teams, plan construction sequences, and ensure project goals align with JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values. This role requires travel and full-time on-site presence for projects across the U.S.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

• Lead safety culture and promote an injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors, staff, and project workflow.
• Develop work plans, coordinate site activities, and lead meetings.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Ensure quality standards and support project closeouts.
• Participate in project pursuit, negotiations, and staffing.
• Promote diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core

• Manage large, complex projects from start to finish.
• Lead multiple project teams and strategic initiatives.
• Develop training content and deliver leadership messages.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management, and construction technology.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, trades, and labor productivity.
• Ability to build relationships, manage budgets, and understand documentation impacts.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu.

Experience

12+ years construction experience; 10+ years in field supervision; experience with lean principles and high-tech projects preferred.

Working Environment

• Valid driver's license required.
