Tradesmen International is actively hiring Traveling Structural Flux-Core Welders to join our field teams across multiple sites. The role features a competitive pay rate up to $35/hour and a $100 per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the jobsite.

You will weld structural steel in fabrication environments, prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity. The position requires strong FCAW welding experience, ability to read drawings and welding symbols, and adherence to WPS guidelines.

Qualificações

• Must pass weld tests
• Experience with structural steel fabrication
• Strong FCAW/Flux-Core welding experience
• Experience with heavy fabrication
• Experience welding beams, columns, and structural assemblies
• Proficiency with groove and fillet welds
• Experience working from WPS requirements
• Ability to read structural drawings and weld symbols
• AWS or other recognized structural welding certifications preferred
• Current or expired welding certifications encouraged

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural steel welding in a fabrication shop environment
• Weld light and heavy beams, columns, and structural assemblies
• Perform FCAW/Flux-Core welding according to project specs
• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbols
• Perform groove and fillet welds to required quality standards
• Maintain production requirements while ensuring weld quality
• Inspect completed welds and make corrections or repairs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Work extended shifts, weekends, and overtime as required by the project
