Job summary

Team MJV is seeking a Traveling Floor Technician to service multiple job sites across Indiana. You will clean and maintain floors, carpets, and hard surfaces while adhering to OSHA standards. The role requires travel, irregular hours, and lifting up to 75 pounds with a strong physical capability.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a floor technician or in a related field.
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 75 pounds and push/pull at least 50 pounds.
• Must have a clean driving record and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Travel between job sites to clean and maintain floors, carpets, and hard surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment and apply floor care products as needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment per OSHA standards and regulations.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and overall site appearance improvements.
• Meet irregular hours requirements and be able to lift 75 lbs and push 50 lbs.

Job Skills / Requirements

A Traveling Floor Technician will travel between job sites cleaning and maintaining floors, carpets, and hard surfaces while preserving a safe environment in accordance to Team MJV guidelines and the current OSHA standards and regulations. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, performing general cleaning duties, improving the overall appearance of a job site, using appropriate equipment and chemicals, along with performing operational maintenance of cleaning equipment. The position is physically demanding, requires working irregular hours, and traveling on a regular basis. The qualified candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a floor technician or in a related field, working knowledge of basic floor care duties and responsibilities, working knowledge of the proper use and application of floor care products and equipment, a valid driver's license with excellent driving record, and the ability to lift/carry up to 75 pounds and push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
