Team MJV in Logansport, IN is seeking a Traveling Floor Technician to clean and maintain floors across multiple sites. This full-time role involves traveling between job sites, performing general cleaning, and operating floor-care equipment to meet safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds while adhering to OSHA guidelines. Various shifts and weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a floor technician or in a related field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull at least 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel between job sites and work irregular hours.
• Basic knowledge of floor care products and equipment and OSHA guidelines.

• Perform general cleaning duties and improve overall job-site appearance.
• Operate cleaning equipment and apply floor care chemicals safely.

Job Skills / Requirements

A Traveling Floor Technician will travel between job sites cleaning and maintaining floors, carpets, and hard surfaces while preserving a safe environment in accordance to Team MJV guidelines and the current OSHA standards and regulations. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, performing general cleaning duties, improving the overall appearance of a job site, using appropriate equipment and chemicals, along with performing operational maintenance of cleaning equipment. The position is physically demanding, requires working irregular hours, and traveling on a regular basis. The qualified candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a floor technician or in a related field, working knowledge of basic floor care duties and responsibilities, working knowledge of the proper use and application of floor care products and equipment, a valid driver's license with excellent driving record, and the ability to lift/carry up to 75 pounds and push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
