Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC is seeking a Field Services Technician to perform field testing and inspections on welds, bolting, fireproofing, paint, and related systems. The role requires driving and flying to job sites and traveling up to 100% locally, regionally, nationally with limited international travel.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of inspection experience and hold or be able to obtain AWS CWICC (S1/S2) and AMPP Level I/II certifications. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of field testing/inspection experience is required.
• Must be willing to travel up to 100% locally, regionally, nationally with occasional international travel.
• Certifications listed (AWS CWICC S1/S2 and AMPP Level I/II) are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing and inspections of welds, bolting, fireproofing, paint, anchor pull, load and hydrostatic tests.
• Document findings and interact professionally with clients on-site.
• Travel to client locations; ability to work independently or with the team.
