Job summary

ProAutomated in the United States is hiring for a field service role that combines travel with hands-on work on automation projects. You’ll join a team that supports customers across North America, performing on-site electrical, mechanical, and control checks while coordinating with engineers.

Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on location, education, and experience, plus per diem meals, mileage reimbursement, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Basic foundation in electrical systems and programming.
• Willingness to travel across North America.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to test and validate systems on-site.
• Communicate progress clearly to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations: 5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off; manage various locations.
