ProAutomated is seeking field-oriented problem-solvers who love travel, hands-on work, and being known by name. Training kicks off with four weeks of paid instruction in electrical systems, programming, and networking, with a path across North America.

Expect a starting salary in the $60,000–$75,000 range, plus per diem, mileage reimbursements, bonuses, and growth potential as you gain experience with diverse automation projects.

Qualifications

• Travel-heavy role with North America rotations; expect time away from home.
• Basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and networking; four-week paid training.
• Must live within 50 miles of a major airport and have a personal vehicle within 45 days.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• 3+ years in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering with a technical degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test and troubleshoot on-site.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations follow 5 on-2 off, 10 on-4 off, or 14 on-7 off.
• Work with diverse customers and be supported by ProAutomated team.
