Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a team of Field Service Engineers to support a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer on-site in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves assembling and installing new equipment at customer locations, following SOPs and applying strong mechanical and electrical skills to complete system hook-ups and ensure full functionality.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on maintenance or repair experience, comfort with common hand tools, and a solid understanding of

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on maintenance or repairing equipment or machinery.
• Experience working with various mechanical hand tools (torque wrenches, socket sets, pliers, screwdrivers, measuring and inspection tools).
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Prior experience utilizing PPE (masks, gloves, safety glasses) and openness to wearing a fab bunny suit daily.
• High School Diploma.
• Travel 90-100% for training and then stay in PHX after training.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test, and be badged at TSMC.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Military experience focused on heavy machinery or technician work.
• Semiconductor industry experience.
• Experience with/troubleshooting robotic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install new equipment at customer locations on-site.
• Follow SOPs and apply mechanical and electrical skills to complete system hook-ups.
• Ensure functionality of installed equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Support equipment during installation process and during travel as required.
