Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. offers a travel-heavy role focused on supporting automation projects across North America.

You will perform on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, lead startup and acceptance testing, and collaborate with engineers to validate systems at customer sites. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in electrical/mechanical/automation engineering, a technical degree, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Willing to travel extensively and work on varied sites.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with automation engineers to test and validate on-site systems.
• Provide clear progress updates to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations follow 5 on-2 off, 10 on-4 off, or 14 on-7 off schedules; adapt to locations.
