Job summary

Knobelsdorff (KE) is seeking a Safety Coordinator to promote and enforce safety practices across national job sites. You will oversee OSHA compliance, provide field training, and audit safety programs to uphold KE's Safety, People, Passion, and Performance values.

The role requires traveling 100% and working flexible hours, with opportunities to lead proactive safety culture initiatives and contribute to risk mitigation in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Up to one year of experience in a Safety Coordinator or similar role (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving history.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA, federal, and state safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel 100% and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promote, monitor, and enforce site-level safety practices across KE job sites nationwide.
• Provide safety education and training to field personnel.
• Oversee and audit project-level safety documentation to KE standards.
• Conduct site safety audits and incident investigations.
• Prepare mandated safety statistics and compliance reports.
• Support risk assessments and mitigation strategy implementation.
• Assist field personnel with EHS/OHS challenges.
• Attend daily Tailgate meetings and coach on hazards and JHAs.
• Travel extensively for safety oversight on active sites.
