About The Role – Field Mechanic – Gold Hill, NC

The primary objective of the Mechanic is to maintain and repair Mobile Mixing Units (MMU), focusing on hydraulics, gear process pumps, and electrical systems.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Hours may vary 40-50 hours/week
• Travel approximately 50% in the eastern US

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize equipment downtime and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years experience in troubleshooting or maintenance
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently in remote areas
• Computer literacy with industrial applications
• Knowledge of control systems, electronics, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics
• Underground mining experience preferred
• MSHA certification is desirable; training provided

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• CDL Class B license preferred; company will assist in obtaining it
