Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Construction Field Engineer to support project engineering and controls across the Greater Washington DC area and related sites. Your role will involve interpreting drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, and aiding in planning, scheduling, and field supervision with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field of engineering or equivalent experience and education.
• At least 2 years of experience in the construction field, preferably in vertical construction markets.
• Must have working knowledge of scheduling - CPM and related cost/control systems.
• Experience with leadership, communication, planning, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and measure progress of work.
• Assist in preparation of work plans, packages, and field surveys.
• Enter data into cost and reporting systems and support project management.
