Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Traveling Facility Operations Project Manager to support a client in Plano, TX. The role requires 90% travel, with weekends at home, focusing on safety, process improvements, and facility performance across warehouses and distribution sites.

You will collaborate with operations leadership to launch new facilities and optimize existing sites, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, engineering, business, or related field.
• Experience in operations, warehouse, logistics, transportation, automotive, or supply chain.
• Experience supporting greenfield/start-up facilities or warehouse expansions.
• Exposure to CAPEX projects and facility buildouts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational improvement initiatives across warehouse and distribution facilities.
• Focus on safety, process optimization, project execution, and facility performance.
• Partner with operations leadership to improve existing sites and support new launches.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Insight Global is looking for aTRAVELING Facilities Operations Project Manager for a client of Insight Global here in Plano, TX! Below is more information of what we're looking for in a candidate in the role:

Travel Requirement:90% (please note, candidates will be home on weekends)

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
• Operations, warehouse, logistics, transportation, automotive, or supply chain experience
• Experience supporting greenfield/start-up facilities or warehouse expansions
• Exposure to CAPEX projects and facility buildouts

Plusses:

• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, CPSM, or similar certifications
• Automotive, logistics, transportation, or distribution industry experience

Day to Day:

The Traveling Facility Operations Project Manager will oversee operational improvement initiatives across warehouse and distribution facilities, with a strong focus on safety, process optimization, project execution, and facility performance. This individual will partner with operations leadership to improve existing sites and support new facility launches while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Compensation: $110k-130k (in addition: company car + expense card)

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
