Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Project Implementations Manager, open to candidates based anywhere in the United States. You will drive new business startups, improve operational efficiency, and oversee project delivery on time and budget.

The role requires leading a cross-functional team, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to standards while traveling up to 85% as needed. You will coordinate planning, risk assessment, and communications, while guiding teams and building a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical field or related experience.
• Approximately 1 year of experience in operations, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience appreciated.
• Project management experience expected.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Establish realistic goals and implement action plans for achieving set objectives for new business implementations.
• Guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure availability of financial, material and human resources required to complete a project successfully.

• Participate in educational programs to update knowledge and expand networks.
• Motivate team members to meet project goals by carrying out responsibilities.

As the Project Implementations Manager you will play a key role in contributing to new business startups, operational efficiency and the financial success of the company through effective planning, execution, resource management and delivery of projects on time and on budget. This role is open to candidates who are based remotely anywhere in the United States. • Ability to travel domestically via road, rail and air as required for the role and pursuant to Company travel and expense requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field or equivalent related work or military experience
• ~1 year of experience in operations, preferably in manufacturing or logistics
• ~ Lean or Six Sigma experience
• ~ Project management experience
• ~ Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Certification(s) such as PMP, Agile or Six Sigma
• Experience with change management processes
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
• Ability to travel up to 85% of the time
• Experience in staff management and development, including solid track record of mentoring Project Managers
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
