Job summary

Goodwill Legacy Group is seeking a full-time traveling Facilities & Grounds Technician in the southern Indiana area. The role involves maintaining equipment, buildings, and grounds, with a starting pay of $19 per hour and full benefits.

You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and installations while using CMMS to manage work orders and input data. Travel to off-site locations is required to service grounds, perform carpentry and basic trades, and coordinate with management and

• Carpentry skills: measuring, wall anchoring, drywall finishing, hardware installation.
• Communication skills: articulate thoughts in multiple formats.

• Reading technical documents: follow safety rules, schematics, manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and completes routine maintenance of facility and grounds at all locations.
• Travels to off-site locations to perform grounds services and routine maintenance.
• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles mechanical parts and devices.
• Operates basic hand and machine tools following safety procedures.
• Updates and completes work orders in CMMS.
• Communicates with facilities management, customers, and contractors to coordinate work.
