Job summary

Stellar Senior Living is seeking an exceptional Traveling Executive Director to lead operations across our Western portfolio. You will stabilize communities during vacancies, oversee care, staffing, finances, and resident experience, and step into interim ED leadership as needed.

You will onboard newly acquired communities, translate Stellar's standards and culture, and partner with regional directors. The role requires up to 80% travel, adaptability, and a track record of occupancy improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years as Executive Director/Administrator in AL, MC, or IL.
• Licensed AL Administrator; multi-state licensure preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; healthcare admin or business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own all community operations during vacancies or transitions, including care quality, staffing, and finances.
• Lead onboarding of newly acquired communities into Stellar's systems, culture, and standards.
• Provide flexible support to operations or sales and mentor in-place teams.
