Stellar Senior Living is seeking an exceptional Traveling Executive Director to lead operations across our Western portfolio. You will stabilize communities during vacancies, oversee care, staffing, finances, and resident experience, and step into interim ED leadership as needed.
You will onboard newly acquired communities, translate Stellar's standards and culture, and partner with regional directors. The role requires up to 80% travel, adaptability, and a track record of occupancy improvement.

This role is built for a senior living leader who is at their best walking into an unfamiliar building and figuring out exactly what it needs. You'll travel across our portfolio, filling interim Executive Director gaps, stabilizing operations during transitions, and leading onboarding for new communities joining Stellar. Some weeks you're running a community day-to-day. Other weeks you're focused on sales support, operational turnaround, or acquisition onboarding.
Stellar is a privately owned, family-run senior living provider across the Western United States. Founded in 2012, we've grown every year since — and we're building toward 60 communities and 10,000+ residents by 2030. We're looking for a Traveling Executive Director to help us get there.

Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Washington's pay transparency law, the expected compensation range for this position is $110,000–$140,000/year. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.
