Job summary

Dartcor Hospitality is seeking a Traveling Chef to rotate across our portfolio of properties. You’ll be a permanent member of the culinary team with full benefits and competitive compensation.

You will lead kitchen operations, develop seasonal menus from local ingredients, train staff, manage inventory, and ensure food safety and quality across locations. You’ll fill coverage during peak periods and share best practices across properties.

Qualifications

• Lead kitchen team in preparing and serving high-quality dishes.
• Develop seasonal menus based on fresh, local ingredients.
• Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring safety and quality.
• Manage inventory, track supplies, and place orders to maintain operations.
• Interact with guests and accommodate special requests.
• Ensure all kitchen operations comply with safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between assigned properties and learn each brand’s standards.
• Execute each property's menu and service style as directed by leadership.
• Collaborate with property-level kitchen teams and management during rotations.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, safety, and presentation across locations.
• Provide coverage during staffing vacancies, high-volume periods, or events.
• Share cross-property insights and best practices with culinary leadership.
