Job summary

Capital Quarries is seeking an Equipment Operator for our Traveling Stripping Crew. This full-time role involves fluctuating hours and up to 10-hour days, with travel from Hermann/Danville MO.

You will operate Dozer, Haul Truck, Wheel Loader, and Excavator in varied conditions and perform routine maintenance while ensuring safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include loading dirt, communicating with the foreman, and performing general labor as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment including Dozer, Haul Truck, Wheel Loader, and Excavator.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel and work weekends as needed.
• Flexibility to handle changing job assignments.

Responsibilities

• Dirt removal and site prep as part of the traveling stripping crew.
• Operate a 40-ton articulated truck and other equipment safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean and operable.
• Communicate daily job specifications with foreman and crew.
• Provide general labor support when required.
• Adapt to job changes and take on additional duties as needed.
