Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate or degree in heavy equipment operation preferred.
• Extensive MSHA regulations knowledge.
• Ability to perform field engineering, welding and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy, material-moving construction equipment to ensure safe, efficient movement of aggregate material.
• Perform field engineering, welding, fabrication, major repairs and service of all plant equipment in conjunction with the plant operator to maintain high safety and production standards of aggregate production facility.
• Must follow proper GOH/MSHA safety practices and procedures.
• Conduct pre and post shift plant and equipment inspections.
• Travel to other job locations as required.
• Assist with maintenance and housekeeping in and around plant area including greasing, belt changes and daily preventative plant maintenance.
