Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. seeks an Equipment Operator to safely move aggregate material and support plant operations. You will perform field engineering, welding, fabrication and routine servicing in coordination with the plant operator.

Applicants should follow GOH/MSHA safety practices, conduct inspections, and be prepared for long or irregular hours, including nights and weekends, with occasional travel to other sites.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate or degree in heavy equipment operation preferred.
• Experience operating heavy machinery and performing basic field engineering.

Aufgaben

• Operate heavy, material-moving construction equipment for safe material handling.
• Perform field engineering, welding, fabrication, repairs and service of plant equipment.
• Follow MSHA safety practices, inspect plant and equipment before/after shifts.
• Travel to other job locations as needed and work non-traditional hours including weekends.
• Assist with maintenance, cleaning and daily preventive plant maintenance.
