Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a seasoned technician to install, service, and maintain equipment at multiple locations. You will specify equipment, assist with layouts, coordinate orders, and oversee installation at customer sites.

The role requires welding, preventive maintenance, and the ability to manage complex repair projects across locations. Travel with short notice and adherence to safety guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in baler repair and installation.
• 10 years’ experience as a mechanic of both heavy equipment and recycling equipment.
• CDL license required.
• High School diploma required.
• Must be able and available to travel with short notice and work varying schedules.
• High degree of safety awareness and safety discipline.
• Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.

• Welding
• Develop critical task lists and timelines
• Ensure all tasks are completed as scheduled
• Manage project activities
• Communicate key repairs
• Equipment oversight
• Tracking installations and maintenance
• Preventative/predictive maintenance
• Maintain equipment specifications
• Track repair history to end of life
• Provide key metrics and MTTR
• Travel to all locations and set up/repair on-site equipment
