Job summary

Ideal Dental in Irving, TX is seeking an Endodontic Dental Assistant to support patients and the clinical team through the endodontic treatment process. You will be equipped with training, tools, and resources to grow your skills in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

You will greet patients, assist the Endodontist, sterilize instruments, prepare rooms, take X-rays, chart treatments, and help with patient education and follow-ups, contributing to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active license as a Dental Assistant and CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of endodontic experience.
• Willingness to travel within assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for patients during endodontic treatment.
• Assist Endodontist with procedures and maintain sterile field.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms.
• Perform X-rays and chart treatments.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care.
• Coordinate care and follow-ups for timely treatment.
• Maintain accurate records to support care decisions.
• Support the team to ensure smooth clinical operations.

What you’ll do:

• Create a welcoming environment for patients, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their endodontic journey.

• Support patients through complex endodontic procedures, helping them feel informed, calm, and confident throughout their treatment experience.

• Work alongside the Endodontist to ensure precision, efficiency, and a smooth clinical experience tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Educate patients on post-treatment care and recovery to promote healing and long-term oral health.

• Coordinate care and follow-ups, ensuring patients receive timely treatment and clear communication throughout their visit.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records to support clinical decision-making and continuity of care.

• Foster a collaborative team environment by staying proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality specialty care.

• Contribute to the success of the endodontic practice by helping manage clinical readiness, patient flow, and operational support.

What do you need to have to be a part of our team?

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License.

• Current CPR certification.

• Minimum of 1 year of specific endodontic experience.

• Must be willing to travel within assigned areas.
