Job summary

CoolSys Energy Solutions (CES) is seeking an EMS Technician to support rapid growth across supermarket retrofits. The role involves programming controllers, wiring and installation, with emphasis on energy management across lighting, refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with trade/tech certification and 5+ years in construction or related fields. Travel nationwide is required; safety and teamwork are essential to project success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and trade or technical school classes with certification.
• 5+ years’ experience in construction or related industry.
• Exposure to EMS hardware and field wiring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork within EMS project crew and lead productivity and safety.
• Program controllers, install conduit, run cables and wire refrigeration, HVAC, RTUs and lighting.
• Ensure projects finish on time and on budget; communicate changes to the Project Manager.
• Handle parts and material ordering and procurement.
• Think creatively to maintain quality, timelines and budgets.
• Maintain daily/weekly communication with managers and engineers.
• Coordinate travel and scheduling across the US for project work.
