Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking an EMG Technician to perform nerve conduction studies, educate patients, and support a busy neurophysiology lab. The role involves traveling to various locations weekly with mileage reimbursement; primary site is the Main Campus with additional sites as needed.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or an associate degree with anatomy & physiology), BLS, and near-term certification as a Registered Nerve Conduction Study Tech.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or an associate’s degree with anatomy & physiology study.
  • BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
  • Must obtain Registered Nerve Conduction Study Tech certification within two years of hire.
  • Experience/knowledge in peripheral neuropathy and neurophysiology.
  • Knowledge of physiology, anatomy and science to interpret EMG results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nerve conduction studies for patients.
  • Instruct other caregivers, residents, physicians and technicians in lab procedures.
  • Maintain orderly laboratory environment and assist with research studies.
