Job summary

MetroPower is seeking an Electrician to install and repair electrical systems across construction sites and industrial equipment. You will read schematics, blueprints, and manuals, and use test equipment while maintaining safety as a priority.

The role requires travel to different construction sites, strong teamwork, and the ability to document time and safety reports. A high school diploma or GED is required, with apprenticeship preferred.

• Electrical installation experience and strong problem-solving skills.
• Team-based environment and immediate contribution expected.
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
• Background check, drug test and physical required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Completion of electrical apprenticeship preferred.
• High school education or GED required.
• Past leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Electricians install and repair electrical systems in construction applications and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Adhere to the National Electrical Code and read/interpret manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and equipment specifications; use and maintain tools and test equipment.
• Strong communication skills are required and able to enter time and safety reports using basic electronic technology.
• Uphold safety as the most important goal; support goal of achieving zero accidents.
• Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.
