Job summary

MetroPower is seeking Electricians to join our employee-owned team for projects across the Southeast, including Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal sectors. Regular full-time positions include benefits and travel to various construction sites.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing electrical systems, reading schematics/blueprints, following the National Electrical Code, and prioritizing safety while delivering quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• This position requires an electrical technician capable of performing all types of electrical installation work and strong problem-solving skills.
• 3 years of electrical installation experience preferred.
• Desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test and physical.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Completion of electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• High school education or GED required.
• Past leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical systems in construction applications and industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and equipment specifications; use hand and power tools and test equipment.
• Communicate effectively; enter time and safety reports.
• Uphold safety as the main priority and support zero-accident goals.
• Obtain safety training as required by the company.
