MetroPower is seeking Electricians for immediate full-time openings across the Southeast. Work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal sectors as part of a growing, employee-owned team.

Required: 3 years electrical installation experience, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background/drug tests and a physical. Apprenticeship preferred; travel to sites may be involved.

Qualifications

• Electrical technician capable of performing all types of electrical installation work and strong problem solving skills.
• 3 years of electrical installation experience preferred.
• Desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test and physical.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Completion of electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• High school education or GED required.
• Past leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical systems in construction applications and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and equipment specifications; use hand and power tools and test equipment.
• Demonstrate strong communication and accurately enter time and safety reports.
• Uphold safety as the top priority and support zero-accident goals.
• Obtain required safety training for all personnel.
