Job summary

Guidant Power is seeking a data collector who can travel to customer sites nationwide to gather information on electrical distribution systems. You will inspect facilities such as hospitals, data centers, and manufacturing sites, reading one-line diagrams and describing how components function.

You will follow safety procedures, open live equipment when needed, and document data accurately for engineers. The role requires industrial electrical experience, the ability to travel, and strong

Qualifications

• Industrial experience in arc flash evaluations, LIM or ATS is a plus, or an electrical engineering degree.
• Ability to travel (valid driver’s license, air travel) and reside within an hour of a major airport.
• Read and understand one-line diagrams, identify components, and describe operation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to conduct arc flash evaluations.
• Open equipment and record data via photos, papers, and electronic means.
• Read and edit one-line drawings to create accurate as-built drawings.
• Test and document LIM and ATS performance per procedures and customer requirements.
• Communicate with engineering and customers to ensure accuracy.
