Job summary

DisplayMax, Inc. is seeking a 4th or 5th year Electrical Apprentice for travel across Michigan and nearby Great Lakes states. You’ll join a small crew, work overnight at client retail stores, and earn $31–$32 per hour with overtime opportunities.

You must live in Michigan, hold a valid driver’s license, be willing to travel away from home during the work week, and have familiarity with NEC and local codes. The role offers hotel accommodations paid for and company-paid health insurance.

Qualifications

• 4th or 5th-year Electrical Apprentice with travel enthusiasm.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Willing to travel and be away from home during work weeks.
• Familiarity with NEC, state, and local electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Travel with a small crew to client retail stores.
• Work overnight shifts when stores are closed.
• Re-route check lanes, install refrigeration electrical, and more.
• Install and repair electrical systems, fixtures, switches, receptacles, and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing electrical systems.
• Keep detailed records of work and assist with general labor as needed.
• Help with vehicle/tool upkeep and site cleanliness.
