Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will help manage operations in the Pharmacy Manager's absence and ensure safe, compliant dispensing.

You will travel within the district, immunize when permissible, coach staff, and maintain inventory with attention to cold chain safety. Requires active pharmacist license and NPI; 40-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and support store coverage.
• Overseeing the pharmacy and serving as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and follow workflow procedures.
• Support immunizations, patient counseling, and coordination with the pharmacy team.
• Maintain inventory control and protect cold chain products across pharmacies.
