Job summary

CVS Health in Florida seeks District Support Pharmacists to cover pharmacy shifts across the district, support the Pharmacy Manager, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, immunization delivery, and team coaching while traveling to stores as needed.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader in pharmacies across the district.
Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following pharmacy workflow procedures.
Act as Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts when needed, ensuring patient safety and service quality.
Coach the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and resolve insurance or medication issues.
Deliver immunizations and support staff training to immunize when permissible.
Manage inventory with emphasis on protecting cold chain products and maintaining stock levels.
Remain flexible for scheduling and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment.
