Qualifications

Position: Clinical Leader / Traveling Director of Health Services

As our Clinical Leader/ Traveling Director of Health Services, you will:

  1. Serve as an essential voice in ensuring positive experiences for both the people we serve and our team members through our priorities, processes, and supports.
  2. Partner with MDS Coordinators and Directors of Nursing to audit MDS records and care plans, ensure accuracy, identify areas for improvement, and provide education regarding MDS/RAI processes.
  3. Provide tools, resources, and education to local teams, continually monitor quality, identify risks and trends, and implement timely corrective actions to maintain quality and compliance.
  4. Educate and consult with Directors of Nursing, Executive Directors, and others to develop policies, systems, and processes that adapt to regulatory changes and ensure successful implementation.
  5. Conduct audits and assessments within our communities (e.g., mock surveys) to review clinical standards and compliance with State and Federal regulations, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans.
  6. Facilitate the development and implementation of clinical systems and services related to QAPI, Social Services, and Dietary Consultation.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Minimum 2 years of Director of Nursing experience, with at least 3 years in nursing administration within a geriatric setting and leadership experience.
  • Preferred: Expertise in RAI processes, clinical reimbursement, and regulatory compliance; knowledge of nursing and medical practices.
