Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Directional Drill Operator TelCom to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, safely operate drilling equipment, and verify utilities while maintaining bore schedules and site readiness.

The role requires 18+, US work authorization, and a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain. Related drilling experience and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Valid Class A Commercial driver’s license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control drill equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site set-up, clean-up and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
